February 6–8, 2026, the highest-level indoor athletics meet in Asia — the 12th Asian Indoor Athletics Championships — will be held at the Tuanbo Sports Center Indoor Arena in Tianjin. China's team roster was also recently announced. Well-known athletes familiar to many — Liu Dezhu, Yu Shuiqing, Wu Hongjiao, Shao Yuqi — all appear on the list and will bring exciting competition to the arena. It is a slight disappointment that Jiang Fakun, Wu Yanni, and Chen Yuxie did not appear on the roster. At this Asian Indoor Athletics Championships, the track program includes seven events: 60 m, 400 m, 800 m, 1500 m, 3000 m, 60 m hurdles, and the 4x400 m relay.
