The Meishan Renshou Half Marathon, which took place on March 15, 2026, is a World Athletics Platinum Label event. Athletes who meet the performance standards at the race can be awarded the "International-class Athlete" or "Athlete" title.
The men's half marathon qualifying standard for the "International-class Athlete" title is 1:02:50, and the men's "Athlete" standard is 1:06:00.
The women's half marathon qualifying standard for the "International-class Athlete" title is 1:12:15, and the women's "Athlete" standard is 1:15:35.
This year 14 athletes earned the "International-class Athlete" title — 5 men and 9 women.
Leading the International-class Athlete list were domestic men's champion Jia Eren and domestic women's champion Liang Tiantian, who ran a 69-minute time.
Ten athletes received the "Athlete" title, including only one woman, Pan Yuancheng. Fang Bo, who posted a big PB at the Shijiazhuang Marathon this year, also earned his "Athlete" title at the Meishan Renshou Half.
Note that to receive the "International-class Athlete" or "Athlete" title, in addition to running the qualifying time, athletes must apply before the race to the pre-achievement category for World Athletics Platinum Label road races; otherwise, even if the time is achieved, the title cannot be awarded.
