Cherotich accelerated to win in 8:51.59, breaking the meet record; Yavi took silver in 8:56.46, and Almayu claimed bronze in 8:58.86. Chemutai fell unexpectedly and missed out on a medal.
🔟 Men's 1500 m final
Nader used a powerful finishing kick to snatch victory in the final moments, winning by 0.02 s with a time of 3:34.10.
