The 2026 Suhe Half Marathon just finished this morning; the top 100 women and top 150 men gain direct entry to the 2026 Shanghai Marathon. According to posts shared by fellow runners on social media: The 101st woman finished in 1:34:41 The 152nd man finished in 1:18:29 Compared with the other two direct-qualification races this month — the Shanghai Half Marathon and the Shanghai Women's Half Marathon — the Suhe Half Marathon's qualifying cutoffs were indeed somewhat easier. Shanghai Half Marathon qualifying cutoffs: men 1:15:33; women 1:30:09 Shanghai Women's Half Marathon cutoff: 1:31:48 Last year the Suhe Half Marathon cutoffs were 1:24:07 for men and about 1:39:02 for women. This year the men's and women's cutoffs are respectively about 5 minutes 30 seconds and 4 minutes 20 seconds faster than last year. Runners really are getting more competitive each year. With this, the Shanghai Marathon qualifying series for this year is now complete.
