With March behind us and April underway, China still has a packed marathon calendar.
Full marathons to watch include the Dalian Marathon and the Qingdao Marathon.
As one of China's oldest marathons, the Dalian Marathon is usually held in May, but this year it's been moved forward to late April.
Although young, the Qingdao Marathon has grown rapidly and has become one of Qingdao's most important sporting events.
Aside from full marathons, the half marathon to look out for is the Beijing Half Marathon. As the country's longest-running half marathon (formerly called the Beijing Long-distance Running Festival), it celebrates its 70th anniversary this year.
Another Beijing half — the Beijing Yizhuang Half Marathon — is also worth watching. Last year's robot runner is back; its pace wasn't noteworthy then, but word is there will be a big surprise this year!
With so many marathons in April, you're bound to join one — which will you end up running?
