The 2026 Siguniang Mountain Yunjian Huajing trail running and Golden League China Series Final concluded today, and with it the final standings for the Golden League China Series were decided. The Lighthouse Program also saw its final male and female winners.
So what changed in the final rankings?
Points scored in this Golden League China Series Final were doubled from the original series races. For example, if first place in a series race awarded 100 points, first place in the Final would award 200 points. That made today's Final especially important for athletes who were already near the top of the standings after Shennongjia — various uncertainties left the question of who would take the large 250,000 yuan prize open until the end.
On the newly released Golden League overall points table, Fan Banglin had earned 200 points from his earlier wins at the Donghai trail and Jilongding; today’s successful title defense at Siguniang Mountain unquestionably moved him up to the top with 400 points.
Guan Yousheng’s runner-up at Jilongding, his win at Shennongjia, and today’s runner-up placed him second on the standings.
Meng Guangfu, who had been third with 188 points, was overtaken on the standings because he did not participate in this Final. Yu Xutao rose from sixth to third with 314 points, still trailing the top two by a margin.
Notably, Yang Chunlong’s 311 points put him fourth. Before taking third in this race, his result at Huangyan Jiufeng had been unimpressive and he was third at Jilongding. His pre-Final total of 135 points wasn’t eye-catching, but he made the most of today’s opportunity — a clear sign of the effort and progress Yang Chunlong has made since transitioning to trail running.
On the women’s list Zhang Ting finished on top. Her 188 points — from third at Jilongding and a win at Shennongjia — had her fourth before today, but her victory today propelled her to first.
Second-placed Xiong Binbin had 194 points after Shennongjia and maintained her overall position after the Final, finishing with 382 points.
Former leader Chi Lingjie slipped to fourth in the Final after a relatively poor day. However, her strong earlier performances at Jilongding and Huangyan Jiufeng — where she secured podium finishes — had already built a solid points advantage. She finished third overall in the women’s series with 360 points.
In the Lighthouse Program points ranking, Fan Banglin, Guan Yousheng, and Luo Tao remained in their respective positions with no change.
In this race, Yaba’s excellent performance on the downhill sections in the second half briefly put him in third, creating additional uncertainty for other competitors such as Yu Xutao. Ultimately Yu Xutao and Yaba took third and fourth on the Lighthouse Program men’s list.
On the women’s side, Zhang Ting’s victory pushed previous leader Xiong Binbin and second-placed Chi Lingjie down one spot. In the final Lighthouse Program women’s ranking Zhang Ting finished first, with Xiong Binbin and Chi Lingjie second and third.
