With the 28 km category at the Wulang Qingyang Shennongjia Mountain Trail Race concluded, all four stages of the 2026 Golden League China Series are complete. What changes have taken place in the Golden League China Series annual standings? And how do the much-watched Lighthouse Program rankings look? According to the competition rules, the Golden League China Series annual standings are calculated by adding each athlete’s two best results, while the Lighthouse Program rankings use each athlete’s three best results; if an athlete has not finished enough events they are not eligible for the corresponding rankings. First, looking at the annual standings: Fan Banglin has already taken victories at the Donghai Trail and Jilongding stages, and therefore sits first with 200 points. Guan Yousheng, thanks to his win at the Wulang Qingyang Shennongjia Mountain Trail Race, is second with 194 points, narrowing the gap to Fan. Meng Guangfu took third at the Wulang Qingyang Shennongjia Mountain Trail Race and rises to third with 188 points. Luo Tao is fourth with 171 points. On the women’s side, Chi Lingjie, Xiong Binbin and Wang Kaili all have 194 points. Under the rules, tied positions are first broken by the higher single-race score; since all three achieved a champion+runner-up combination their highest single-race scores are the same. In that case, the athlete with the higher ITRA performance score ranks higher. Their latest ITRA performance scores are 787, 752 and 711 respectively, so Chi Lingjie ranks first, Xiong Binbin second, and Wang Kaili third. The annual overall standings award 30,000 yuan to first place, 20,000 yuan to second, 15,000 yuan to third, and 10,000 yuan to fourth. Now looking at the Lighthouse Program standings. Fan Banglin leads with 294 points and Guan Yousheng is second with 288 — the two are the most likely to claim the Lighthouse Program’s ¥200,000 grand prize. On the women’s side, Xiong Binbin leads with 282 points, Chi Lingjie is second with 277, and Zhang Ting third with 276 — all three still have a shot at the Lighthouse Program title.
