This event, themed"Advance with Grace and Strength",
was not just a sporting competition
but a lively dialogue between women's strength and the city's vitality
Female runners gathered on the course
interpreting the event theme with determined steps
over the 21.0975 km course
showcasing resilience and grace
together painting one of the most beautiful city scenes of spring

The Shanghai Women's Half Marathon always puts the runner experience at its core, with high standards applied from course planning to service details. Whether through comprehensive medical coverage or the thoughtful service of volunteers, the goal is to create a safe and comfortable environment for every participant.
On the course, more than950"'Little Motor'" volunteers fromEast China University of Political Science and Law,Shanghai Ocean University, andShanghai University of Applied Technologyquietly supported every aspect of the race. They were efficient collaborators at the aid stations, warm guides at the finish, and a solid backbone for the female runners. Each smile and thank-you from the runners was the most heartwarming reward for the volunteers.

Medical support ran throughout the event, with medical stations at the start and finish,17 medical pointsalong the course, and15 ambulanceson standby. Shanghai Tongren Hospital and Changning District Tianshan Chinese Medicine Hospital served as designated support units, building a strong backup line for the event. Even more heartening were the 'guardians' deployed across the course.
They not only provided rapid assessments and wound care for runners who were physically struggling at the medical points, but also proactively monitored and responded along the route. When runners experienced muscle cramps, they stepped in immediately to assist with stretching; for localized soreness or acute sprains, they skillfully used topical sprays to help relieve pain and cool the area. Every medic and emergency responder protected each step of the female runners with professional care and quiet concern, ensuring safety and peace of mind throughout the beautiful 21.0975 km journey.

The Shanghai Women's Half Marathon always starts from the needs of runners, continuously optimizing details in race organization and on-site services. It is committed to providing a professional, thoughtful, and warm race platform so runners can focus on running itself and enjoy the race.
Warm race services ran through the entire preparation and participation process. Starting seven days before the race, organizers sent friendly reminder messages to female runners covering practical information such as the weather, kit collection, and entry flow.
A scientifically complete aid station system was set up along the course: from 5 km there were drink and beverage stations every 5 km, from 7.5 km there were water-only stations every 5 km, and two additional energy stations along the route provided Jianong bananas and other supplies to help female runners replenish fluids and energy in a timely manner.

From satisfying the taste buds to relaxing body and mind, from capturing individual style to sharing family warmth, every detail at the finish aimed to turn 21.0975 kilometers of effort into a complete, warm, and precious memory.
