Wu Xiangdong crossed the line in 2:08:48, recording the second-best time of his career.
Chen Tianyu finished in 2:11:38, while Gao Peng and Jia Erenjia posted times of 2:15:50 and 2:17:19 respectively.
Zheng Xiaoqian ran 2:28:43, a personal best, placing seventh overall.
Among Japanese athletes, Hirabayashi Kiyosumi was the first Japanese finisher in 2:06:14. Yoshida Hibiki, who boldly led during the race, ultimately finished in 2:09:34.
On the women's side, Ethiopian Mare Dibaba won in 2:21:44 and set a new course record, improving the previous mark by 32 seconds.
Meanwhile, the men's race record was broken by Djibouti's Ibrahim Hassan, whose 2:05:20 also set a new national record for Djibouti.
