Registration tips:
1. Registration: There are three ways to register for the 2026 Berlin Marathon: individual, team, and qualifying time.
2. Register with an individual account — this is likely how most runners will register. Once registration is completed you cannot change to another registration type.
3. Register as a team. Each team member must create an account. The first person to register chooses the team name; after completing registration they receive a code. Other team members (1–2 people) select to join an existing team during registration and enter the code. If the team is drawn, all members are drawn.
4. Qualifying times: only results from certified courses (AIMS and USATF certified) from 2024 and 2025 are valid, and a link to the result must be provided.
Men: ages 18–44 (2:45), 45–59 (2:55), 60+ (3:25)
Women:18-44 years (3:10), 45-59 years (3:30), 60+ years (4:20)
Runners who weren’t selected don’t need to be upset — you can still obtain an entry through other channels, such as travel packages and charity entries.
The Berlin Marathon registration process isn't complicated; just fill it out according to the requirements. Also, everyone, be careful not to enter the wrong email address or bank card information.
Finally, good luck to everyone — may you all get selected in the lottery!
