Recently, the marathon course for the 2026 Nagoya Asian Games was officially released.

The race will start and finish at Mizuho Park Stadium in Nagoya, using a single-lap loop of approximately 20 km.

Athletes will depart from Mizuho Park Stadium and turn right at the Mizuho Sports Ground West intersection to enter the loop.

The loop—also used by the Nagoya Women’s Marathon—then heads north, turning left at the Uchiyama-cho intersection, turning right at the Sakura-dori Ōtsu intersection near Nagoya TV Tower, reaching Meijō Park intersection to turnaround, and finally returning to the Mizuho Sports Ground West intersection.

The course has only slight undulations overall, but the gentle slope in front of Nagoya City Hall—also a key section in the Nagoya Women’s Marathon—is expected to be a decisive point that could influence race dynamics.

The Nagoya Asian Games marathon will be held on September 26; the men's race starts at 8:30 (Beijing Time) and the women's race starts at 8:50 (Beijing Time).
