The 11th Chaigutangsi Kuocang Trail Race is scheduled for October 30–November 1, 2026 in Linhai, Zhejiang Province. Pre-registration opens at 10:00 AM on June 20, 2026 and closes at 10:00 AM on June 26, 2026.

The T³G category that was specially added for Chaigutangsi’s 10th anniversary last year will not return this year. This edition features the classic 105K, 50K and 25K categories, all with start/finish at Xingshanmen Square.

Compared with 2025, the 105K cut-off has been shortened by 1 hour, the 50K cut-off by 15 minutes, and the 25K remains unchanged.

50K category: ITRA 360 points or above
25K category: ITRA 260 points or above
All participants may register for the lottery in only one category.
Any competitor who finishes any one of the following 2026 races—the Panda Shudao Mountain Super Trail Race, the Chaigutangsi Langlangtan Trail Race, or the Huangyan Jiufeng Trail Masters—will receive one extra entry in the lottery pool (i.e., their chance of being selected is doubled); if a competitor finishes all three events, their chance of being selected is quadrupled.

In 2025 there were only full or half refunds; for 2026 two new refund tiers — 70% and 30% — have been added:
Cancel registration before 10:00 on July 31 to receive a 70% refund of the entry fee;
Cancel registration before 24:00 on September 30 to receive a 30% refund of the entry fee.

This year the "paid elite" category has been cancelled, but a new free-elite qualifying standard has been introduced: half‑marathon times of 1 hour 07 minutes or faster for men, and 1 hour 17 minutes or faster for women.
