

















On August 25 local time, the 2026 UTMB Finals entered its second day of competition.
At 14:00 the ETC category (15 km, 1,200 m ascent) started.
In the end, American runner Taylor Stack(Fig. 6)won the men's title in 1 hour 19 minutes 23 seconds — the only athlete to finish under 1 hour 20 minutes. French runner Romain Discher took second; Spain's Jan Torrella Oller claimed third, with times of 1 hour 20 minutes 13 seconds and 1 hour 20 minutes 40 seconds, respectively.
In the women's race, French runner Marie Nivet(Fig. 7)won in 1 hour 34 minutes 20 seconds. Second and third went to Swiss runner Axelle Genoud and Italian runner Vivien Bonzi, with times of 1 hour 36 minutes 09 seconds and 1 hour 39 minutes 07 seconds, respectively.
Meanwhile, newly appointed SALOMON brand ambassador and actor Tony Yang(Fig. 1)completed his first-ever trail race in the ETC category, finishing in 3 hours 45 minutes 42 seconds.
Another entertainer, Zhao Yihuan(Fig. 4)also successfully finished the ETC and crossed the line draped in the national flag.
After nearly 20 hours of competition, the TDS category (148 km, 9,300 m ascent) saw the men's winner cross the line in the evening.
Local French runner Remy Brassac(Fig. 10)won in 19 hours 28 minutes 43 seconds — the only athlete to finish under 20 hours.
Also from France, Pierre-Adrien Hivert(Fig. 12)finished second in 20 hours 14 minutes 26 seconds; Italian Davide Rivero(Fig. 13)took third in 20 hours 42 minutes 43 seconds.
In the women's race, local French runner Sarah Vieuille(Fig. 14)claimed the title in 22 hours 08 minutes 16 seconds.
