Just announced: the 2026 UTMB Chinese elite roster has been released. Here's who made the list. UTMB category (174 km): On the women's side, Xiang Fuzhao and Chen Lin lead — can they make history again? On the men's side, the duo Shen Jiasheng and Deng Guomin look somewhat thin compared with last year. CCC category (101 km): A total of 15 athletes — the most of any category. The top women's favorite is Yao Miao, and Chi Lingjie shouldn't be overlooked. The men's side is a "dream team": Meng Guangfu, Duoji, and Luo Canhua each have UTMB indices over 900; Yang Jianjian, Zhang Huohua, and Luo Tao are also very strong. OCC category (61 km): On the women's side Lei Yan leads, closely followed by Zhang Ting and Ren Ti. On the men's side, Zhao Jiaju is the only runner with a UTMB index over 900, but his target race is the Giant's Journey; Guan Yousheng could provide a surprise.
