60 km, 3500 m+ ascent — the 2026 UTMB final OCC saw its men's winner cross the line. Making his OCC debut, French runner Frédéric TRANCHAND (Merrell Running) showed a strong attack, sitting in the men's lead group from the start. After pre-race favorite Rémi Bonnet withdrew, he moved into the front and ultimately crossed the line first in 5:10:08, becoming the first French athlete to top the UTMB OCC podium in 10 years.
Kenya's Nashon KIPLIMO (Salomon) finished second in 5:14:37, and Spanish 2002-born youngster Miguel BENITEZ (Asics) was third in 5:17:43.
Pre-race favorite, Swiss star Rémi Bonnet, unfortunately withdrew due to injury at the La Giète CP.
