On November 1, 2025, the 2025 Round Siguniang Mountain Ultra Trail (UTMS) reached its second race day. Apart from the ZYZH Freedom Soul 45 km category that finished yesterday, the podium battles in the remaining four categories — KLNZ Happy Cowboy 35 km, NHPL Hello Pretty 50 km, MHZL Dream Road 75 km, and MXDB Dream East Wall 100 km — also concluded.

This report is a quick race update for the two mid-short distance categories: KLNZ Happy Cowboy 35 km and NHPL Hello Pretty 50 km.

The five UTMS categories are all named after classic ascent routes on Yaomei Peak. The 35 km is named Happy Cowboy. In September 2008, Chad Kellog and Dylan Johnson climbed Yaomei's southwest ridge straight to the summit, taking 9 days and 72 rope pitches to complete the ascent; the route became known as: Happy Cowboy 

The race distance was 32.4 km, with 1,591 m ascent and 1,591 m descent,On November 1, the gun went off at 7:30 a.m. After a fierce morning battle, the men’s and women’s titles were won by Chinese runner Wang Kun and Russian runnerDaria Goreva, both seized the lead from the start and ran away with it to the finish, recording times of 3:32:XX and 4:35:37, respectively.

Wang Kun is a local runner from Siguniang Mountain. Six days earlier he had just won the summit speed-ascent category at the 8th Siguniang Mountain Summit event in a course-record performance. Women's champion Daria Goreva is a versatile athlete in trail running and ski mountaineering.

Ziyong（4:46:48）、Gao Qin（4:52:03）获得女子组亚军与季军；Wu Tingwei（3:39:32）、西班牙选手 Daniel Perez Fernandez（3:56:23）分列男子组二三位。

The 50 km category's name comes from October 2011, when two young French climbers, Dimitri Messina and Mael Baguet, climbed straight up the northwest face of Yaomei and successfully reached the summit; the route was named: "Hello, Beautiful."

The actual race distance was 50.7 km, with 2,689 m of ascent/descent, and the start time was 5:00 AM on November 1. Ultimately British athlete Clementine Ebel won the women's title in 7:37:30, and the men's champion was Fu Jian, with a time of 6:53:52.

Zhang Xinyi（7:49:51）和Deng Xingchen （8:08:47）获得女子组亚军和季军，Lin Yongxu（6:58:38）在 CP6 反超冰岛选手 Kristjan Chapman（7:20:51） 夺得男子组亚军，后者获得男子组季军。
