They ran 39.62 seconds, dramatically lowering the world record they had set the day before and claimed victory by a clear margin, with Canada — impressive in the heats — close behind for silver. In the mixed 4x400m, the United States showed impressive depth. They took gold with a stunning 3:07.47, significantly breaking the championship record; Jamaica also performed superbly, taking silver with 3:08.24 and setting a new national record (NR). Under the rules, the top six mixed relay teams have secured tickets to the Budapest Ultimate Championship scheduled for September 11–13, 2026. The most thrilling moment of the meet was undoubtedly the host nation Botswana's extraordinary performance in the men's 4x400m final. Amid deafening home support, Botswana won the title with an eye-catching 2:54.47. Not only did this break the championship record, it is also the third-fastest men's 4x400m time in athletics history! The 100m sprint relays were also explosive. The U.S. men's team, thanks to impeccable curve running and a powerful anchor straight, clocked 37.43 to come close to the championship record and take the men's 4x100m title.
