Women's 10,000 m final
Liang Tiantian of Henan edged out marathon specialist Ciren Cuomu of Tibet in a final sprint to win in 33:52.28, taking the double of 5,000 m and 10,000 m at this meet. Ciren Cuomu, whose primary event is the marathon, delivered an excellent 10,000 m performance that strongly indicates good marathon form.
Men's 5,000 m final
Tashi Ciren of Tibet took the win, with Ma Wenliang of Qinghai and Tang Haoran of Shandong finishing second and third.
Women's 200 m final
Zhu Junying of Hubei claimed the title, Zhou Zhenglin of Zhejiang set a new PB to place second, and Liu Guoyi of Sichuan took third.
Men's 200 m final
2005-born youngster Huang Youwen of Shanghai ran 20.15 seconds to win, vaulting him to second on China's all-time men's 200 m list behind Xie Zhenye. The 20.15 also secured Huang direct qualification for the Nagoya Asian Games.
Women's 800 m final
Wu Hongjiao of Yunnan showed her strength, meeting the selection standard with 2:01.81 to take the win. Rao Xinyu of Zhejiang and Zhu Gejing of Sichuan finished second and third.
Men's 800 m final
Song Zhiyuan of Zhejiang won in 1:47.39, edging out teammate and national 800 m record holder Xi Xiao, who took second, while Ma Zhongqiang of Henan finished third.
Women's 400 m hurdles final
Kong Yingying of Guangdong cruised to victory in 57.31. Zou Yifan of Fujian was second in 58.26, and Liu Wei of Chongqing was third in 58.68.
Men's 400 m hurdles final
The country's top three in the event met up, and Xu Xinfeng of Hebei won in 49.19, defeating former national record holder Xie Zhiyu and current national record holder Gong Debin, who finished second and third respectively.
Women's 4x100 m relay final
The Zhejiang team in the second heat won with a season-best 44.40. The Shanghai team in the first heat took silver in 44.47.
Men's 4x100 m relay final
Jiangxi won gold in 38.90, while Jiangsu finished a close second in 38.99.
Women's 4x400 m relay final
Shanghai, from the first heat, edged home in 3:37.90 to win by 0.02 seconds over Guangxi, who took silver in a season-best 3:37.92. Zhejiang, from the second heat, claimed bronze in a season-best 3:40.80.
Men's 4x400 m relay final
Guangdong led from the start in the first heat and won in 3:03.92, setting a new provincial team record. Jiangsu took silver in the second heat with 3:05.03, and Sichuan finished third in that heat in a season-best 3:05.26.
