This morning, the 2026 Lanzhou Marathon — serving as the Nagoya Asian Games selection race — got underway. After a fierce battle, Feng Peiyou and Jia Erenjia finished first and second in the men's selection race and, under the selection criteria, will earn direct qualification for the Asian Games. Tashi Ciren finished third and is expected to be named a reserve. On the women's side, Ciren Cuomu and Wu Bing finished first and second in the women's selection race and also secured Asian Games berths.
