According to the latest doping violation information published by the National Anti-Doping Center, two marathon runners, Xue Jun and Yang Bin, have committed doping violations.

When the final start list for the National Games men's marathon was announced, Xue Jun of the Qinghai team did not appear on the list; given the current situation, it is evidently due to a doping-related issue.

Xue Jun of the Qinghai team tested positive for oxandrolone and its metabolites in an out-of-competition (no‑notice) test on October 3. This substance binds to androgen receptors in muscle cells, promotes protein synthesis and muscle growth, and can help athletes increase muscle mass. Currently, Xue Jun has waived the analysis of his B sample.

Yang Bin tested positive for roxadustat in an in-competition test after finishing second at the Haidian Marathon on October 12. This drug stimulates hemoglobin and red blood cell production, increasing the blood's oxygen-carrying capacity. Yang Bin also waived B-sample test.
