Last Sunday, marathon legend Eliud Kipchoge, after concluding a brand event in Shanghai, traveled to Bangkok, Thailand to take part in “ 2025 Fantasy Thailand Bangkok Marathon". As the event's ambassador, last year he ran the 10 km category; this year he ran the half marathon, and accompanied Thailand's queenSuthida for the entire race, finishing in 2 hours 13 minutes 40 seconds. This is his slowest half marathon time. After the Thai Queen crossed the finish line, the ThaiPrime Minister Anutin presented her with a commemorative medal. Afterwards, the Thai Queenfired the starting gun for the 10 km race and presented trophies for the half marathon. Eliud Kipchoge completed the final race of the World Marathon Majors, the New York Marathon, in early November, then announced he was beginning the next chapter of his career, hoping to run seven marathons on seven continents over the next two years.
