The 2025 Beijing Marathon is set to kick off this Sunday. Below is the list of elite entrants; due to the National Games, most of the country’s top athletes are unable to compete.

On the women's side, athletes from Ethiopia and Kenya are strongest, followed by competitors from Mongolia and North Korea. Chinese athletes include Ding Changqin, Zhou Xia and Huang Xuemei.

On the men's side, the fastest PB is Ethiopia's Lemi Berhanu, at 2:04:33. North Korean athlete Han Rilong is once again coming to China to compete, and it is reported that Yunnan athlete Yang Chunlong will also take part in the Beijing Marathon.
