The registration that was scheduled to open on October 28 for the " 2025 Xuhui Riverside International Corporate Half Marathon " (referred to as the Xuhui Riverside Half Marathon) has been adjusted due to changes in the race plan.

The originally scheduled "half marathon" event has been canceled; the "10 km race" event will be retained. The exact event name and registration time will be announced separately..

The inauguralXuhui Riverside Half Marathon was originally scheduledfor December 28, but it had to be adjusted before the race even took place. The classic Xuhui Riverside stretch that previously formed the Shanghai Marathon segment from the West Bund to Xupu Bridge will be absent from this edition.

Previous adjustments to road races within Shanghai were mainly concentrated in the suburbs; it’s unclear how this change within the urban area will affect the series of races across Shanghai’s city center going forward.
