Anta Champion’s trail-running line is built around the “Falcon” family — five shoes form the Falcon matrix.
The two models carrying the SPEED suffix are defined for all-out pace on fast courses and both feature carbon-fiber plates; among them, the Falcon SPEED RC represents the most extreme performance — it’s the most aggressive in the lineup and offers the best responsiveness among the long-distance trail-racing shoes.
The Falcon SPEED shares a similar overall structure with the RC, but its tuning is different: its “skill points” are maxed in agility. A relatively thinner midsole makes it lighter and better suited to mid- and short-distance races.
At last month’s Chongli 168, the top two finishers in the men’s 50 km — Yang Chunlong and Qin Gui — both chose the Falcon SPEED, showing elite athletes’ endorsement.
The Falcon SPEED RC helped Zheng Wenrong onto the podium in the women’s 100 km.
Compared with the two SPEED models, the three Falcon 3 variants lean more toward all-round and technical terrain.
The Falcon 3 RC is the top-spec of the three, but also the most demanding to handle. Its Nitro-technology dual-density midsole provides reliable rebound and better suits long-distance racing. However, with a lighter, thinner upper and other weight-saving design choices it trades comfort for greater competitiveness, so beginners should choose cautiously. Anta Champion’s signed athlete Veronika often uses this shoe for 100 km races.
Unlike the products above, the Falcon 3 and Falcon 3 SE are more versatile and offer superior overall stability. They adapt to varied terrain and deliver better control.
If you were racing, which of the five Falcons would you choose?
