The marathon season is about to kick off, and 跑野大爆炸 will be there — after the start of the second half of 2026 it will present Chinese live commentary for six top events.
【2026】
Berlin Marathon | September 27
The men's field is led by world record holder Sabastian Sawe, who returns to Berlin carrying the distinction of being this year's London Marathon's first man to go sub-2. Also entered is women's world record holder Tigst Assefa, who aims to reclaim the women's marathon world record she set in Berlin in 2023.
Several of China's top marathoners will also take part in the race.
Malaga Marathon | November 8
The course is flat and fast, passing historical landmarks such as the Alcazaba fortress and the Roman theatre, making it ideal for runners chasing fast times. The event attracted 22,000 entries, and its scale continues to expand.
Valencia Marathon | December 6
The men's race will feature a headline showdown between John Korir and Yomif Kejelcha — notably Kejelcha, who became the world's second athlete to go sub-2, could he overturn Korir's bid to defend his title?
Top Chinese athletes will also choose to compete at this event.
【2027】
Seville Marathon | February 21
Known as "Europe's flattest course," it's a PB-friendly race; entry spots have been expanded to 20,000, a record high.
Barcelona Marathon | March 14
Established in 1978, it is one of Europe's oldest marathons. The course is known for long straight sections and strong rhythm; overall flat, it is an ideal choice for runners chasing personal bests.
Madrid Marathon | April 25
The 2027 edition will be the 49th running; the course starts from Madrid's iconic Plaza de Cibeles, features significant elevation changes, and is regarded as one of Europe's most challenging marathon routes.
