At today’s women’s discus competition at the 2026 Diamond League Final in Brussels, China’s Feng Bin produced a fourth-round mark of 67.46 m to narrowly beat two-time Olympic champion and five-time Diamond League Final winner Valarie Sion, claiming her first Diamond League overall title.

With this win Feng Bin not only ended Valarie Sion’s five‑consecutive Diamond League Final titles, she also became the first Chinese athlete in seven years to stand atop the Diamond League Final podium since Gong Lijiao in 2017 and Lv Huihui in 2019.

Congratulations to Feng Bin! Looking forward to more great performances from her at the upcoming Asian Games!
