Beijing time on November 6, 2025, Chinese trail runner Xiang Fuzhao won the women's 50 km category at the Grampians Peaks Trail 100 Miler held in Australia (known as Australia GPT 100). Her finishing time of 5 hours 05 minutes 59 seconds not only set a new course record but also placed her seventh overall.

The 50 km category course at Australia's GPT 100 is approximately 49.5 km long, with around 2,000 m of cumulative ascent and 2,040 m of descent.

This year Australia's GPT 100 joined theWorld Trail Major series (World Trail Major), and is the 11th race of this year's series (of 12). Hong Kong 100 and Japan's Mt. Fuji 100, familiar to Chinese trail runners, are also members.

Xiang Fuzhao competed at the end of April this year in the Mt. Fuji 100 40 km category, ultimately winning in 3 hours 37 minutes 33 seconds. In September she also won the 50 km category at a race in Vietnam in 5 hours 41 minutes 10 seconds. So with thisthe Australian GPT 100 title, she has nowclaimed three short-distance race titles in the World Trail Running Grand Slam series.
