As August begins the racing calendar fires up again. This weekend, Trail Running Explosion will bring runners two very different but equally thrilling live events — the Golden Trail World Series (GTWS) Pitzal Glacier, Austria, and HYROX Fitness Run Chengdu! From the peaks of Alpine glaciers to the indoor track at Chengdu Century City, from wild mountain runs to tests of physical limits, both events promise non-stop excitement.

At the Golden Trail World Series — Pitzal Valley Glacier trail race in Austria, Chinese athletes Guan Yousheng and Xiong Binbin will be competing. It’s highly anticipated to see how they’ll perform against a field of international elites.

HYROX Chengdu, HYROX’s debut in western China, features a star-studded lineup. Variety star Jiang Sida and actor Zhao Yihuan cross over to compete; Winter Olympic ice-dance pair Liu Xinyu & Wang Shiyue swap the ice for the running floor; and Wang Shi continues his HYROX campaign, proving the veteran fire still burns strong.
