As a specialist running brand, 必迈体育 is taking a key step into the capital markets. Recently, Industrial Securities has completed all IPO guidance for 必迈体育, and the company plans to formally submit its prospectus in due course. This is another important development in 必迈体育's listing process.

If 必迈体育 ultimately succeeds in going public, it would be particularly significant. Not only could the A-share market, after many years, welcome another footwear and apparel company, but 必迈 would also become one of the rare sports start-up brands founded after Notice No. 46 (the State Council's 2014 "Several Opinions on Accelerating the Development of the Sports Industry and Promoting Sports Consumption") to have a real chance of entering the capital markets.
In October 2014, the 必迈 brand was officially founded at the running mecca Chaoyang Park in Beijing. The partnership of former Li-Ning CEO Zhang Zhiyong and former Li-Ning supply chain general manager Dong Jun laid a solid foundation for the brand's development.
On the product side, 必迈 has launched well-received models such as the thick-soled running “远征者” series and the racing “惊叹” series. With the production start-up last year of 必迈's industrial park in Taoyuan, Hunan, the brand achieved full control of the entire industry chain from design to manufacturing.

Beyond products, 必迈 has emphasized community operations since its founding: the brand established a running service station in Chaoyang Park and regularly organizes check-in runs called “朝阳公园小恐龙”.
In terms of business model, it adhered to an internet-driven DTC strategy, using online social marketing and offline experiential marketing in sports settings to reach users directly — a choice that was highly distinctive at the time.
In recent years at major marathon races, the appearance of the 必迈 team has also brought the brand more exposure through its marketing communications.
After more than a decade of accumulation and preparation, this domestic brand is now approaching a major test on the A-share market in its own way.
What impression do you have of 必迈?
