Zhang Huohua, Meng Guangfu and Zhao Jiaju Score Over 940 ITRA Points at Chongli 168

The ITRA single-race performance scores for Chongli 168 have been officially released, and Chinese athletes delivered a collective breakout at this edition. In the 70 km men's field Zhang Huohua posted 945 points, setting a new Asian single-race record, while in the same field Meng Guangfu's 943 points rank as the second-highest Asian single-race score. The third-highest Asian single-race score is Zhao Jiaju's 942 in the 168 km field; he also achieved over 940 as hoped. Three athletes surpassed 940 single-race points — Chongli 168's fast course produced large score gains for many. Notably, in the 50 km field Yang Chunlong scored 939, a personal single-race best. The overall ranking shifts brought by Chongli's single-race scores are already visible: Zhang Huohua's overall performance score jumped 25 points to 916, rising to 11th in Asia; Yang Chunlong's overall performance score reached 918, putting him inside the Asian top ten; Zhao Jiaju's overall performance score of 927 returns him to the Asian top four. Meng Guangfu's overall performance score of 932 keeps him second among Chinese men, while Fan Banglin remains China's No.1 and Asia's top with 938. Chinese male athletes occupy 28 of the top 30 spots in Asia, creating a strong group advantage. After Chongli 168, the ITRA rankings landscape for Chinese trail runners is undergoing a clear shift.
