On the evening of December 28, the PUMA PR5000 finals kicked off at Luwan Stadium. Competitors came frompast PR5000 winners and Beijing community runners, all vying for this year’s "PR5000 Luwan Fastest" title.

After an intense battle, Dai Yu claimed the men's title in 15:45.58, becoming the "PR5000 Luwan Men's Fastest", though he fell a little short of his own course record. Jiang Yuan finished second, two seconds behind, and Hu Wanchao took third — all three broke the 16-minute barrier.

On the women's side, Wu Jing won in 18:36.89, claiming the title of "PR5000 Luwan Women's Fastest." Ma Lihong finished second, less than two seconds behind the winner, and Zhuang Ning took third. Four athletes broke the 20-minute barrier.

According to reports, PR5000 will undergo a comprehensive upgrade in 2026: elevating service professionalism, visual content, community experience and more, bringing runners a warmer and more vibrant race experience.

On the service experience that runners care about most, the Luwan Biaosu Station will complete hardware iteration and service expansion upgrades. From pre-race product fittings, changing and luggage storage, and information inquiries, to post-race stretching and recovery, and energy replenishment, every aspect will be designed to allow runners to focus more fully on the joy of running.

What's more notable is the 2026 the Luwan PR5000 will be officially incorporated into the Huangpu District Sports Bureau's"Huangpu·I Race" mass fitness event system.Relying on this official platform,PR5000 will further promote the deep integration of sports with culture, commerce and tourism, using running as a catalyst to energize the city, attracting more people out of their homes, into Luwan, and onto the course, to experience a vibrant, energetic sporting atmosphere.
