August has arrived, which means the trail running community is officially entering the UTMB rhythm. The 2026 UTMB Final will be held August 24–30. 跑野大爆炸 has already secured live broadcast rights for the three main UTMB final races — UTMB (174 km, starting August 27), CCC (101 km, starting August 28) and OCC (60 km, starting August 28) — and will provide Chinese commentary worldwide. Stay tuned. The elite start list hasn’t been released yet, but a considerable number of Chinese trail running elites are expected to take part. For example, Yao Miao will compete in the CCC category. Before UTMB, there are two Golden Trail World Series races in early August: the Austria stop, the Pitztal Glacier Trail, and the Swiss stop, Sierre‑Zinal. 跑野大爆炸 and 越野看台 will provide global Chinese commentary and live broadcasts — stay tuned. The Golden Trail World Series focuses on shorter distances, so these races are ideal pre‑UTMB tune‑ups. Confirmed by 跑野大爆炸: Guan Yousheng and Xiong Binbin will take part in the Austria stop. Yao Miao and Tang Jingyan; Guan Yousheng, Zi Juwei, Wang Ruqin and Zhao Hu will compete at the Switzerland stop. Last year Yao Miao finished sixth at Sierre‑Zinal and then went on to win the UTMB OCC category. What will this year’s storyline be?
