With the 2026 UTMB concluded, the top-three on the men’s and women’s podiums came from six different brands.
Blandine L’Hirondel gave France its first UTMB women’s title in a decade and historicly became the second woman to complete the Grand Slam, while Decathlon — after the TDS women’s win — stood on the top step again, taking two victories at this year’s UTMB.
norda’s 055, under Rachel Entrekin — the so-called “Cocodona King” — proved it’s competitive not only in ultra-long distances but also on UTMB’s undulating, technical terrain, and which HOKA mystery test shoe helped Emily Schmitz chase her way to third?
After Tom Evans’ win last year, ASICS effectively defended the men’s crown this year, although the champion was Ben Dhiman — last year’s runner-up finally promoted to first and became the first finisher to break 19 hours at UTMB. Despite the course’s technical difficulty being reduced by weather, the 18:16:29 finish remains stunning, and according to Ben Dhiman’s interviews he still had more in reserve.
The other two men’s podium spots were taken by On (昂跑) and ACG. ACG also had a presence across the 2026 OCC, CCC and UTMB race categories.
Which shoe left the strongest impression on you at this year’s UTMB?
